The annual 72nd Golden Globes Awards baru saja selesai digelar, Tina Fey dan Amy Poehler berhasil untuk ketiga kalinya membuat suasana tegang ajang tahunan tersebut cair. Di awali dengan monolog mereka tentang Korea Utara dan film The Interview, dilanjut dengan joke tentang Bill Cosby.

“In `Into the Woods,’ Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from her tower for her prince and Sleeping Beauty just thought that she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby,” Poehler cracked.

Kehadiran Margaret Cho yang juga sempat menghebohkan acara yang digelar di California tersebut, karena dia berdandan ala opsir dari Korea Utara dan foto bareng Meryl Streep yang fotonya di-photo bombed oleh Benedict Cumberbatch. Opening monologue mereka ditutup oleh sedikit games yang mereka buat, ‘Who Would You Rather‘ yang pastinya jadi pamungkas di awal acaranya.

Sorotan lain yang pastinya juga jadi bahan obrolan sepanjang hari ini adalah beberapa aktor dan aktris yang pastinya memakai atribut ‘Je Suis Charlie’ untuk mendukung Charlie Hebdo dan kejadian penembakan yang terjadi di Paris beberapa waktu lalu. Mulai dari George Clooney dan istrinya Amal Alamuddin, Kathy Bates, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson hingga Helen Mirren.
